Grace May Melbourne Psychologist

The most important part of therapy is that you feel safe and connected with your therapist.

Grace is a registered psychologist who brings a warm and compassionate approach to therapy that centres on your lived experience. She believes that a collaborative therapeutic relationship is essential and will work together with you to make sure you are getting the treatment that suits you best.

Grace has a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community and enjoys working with clients through their gender and sexuality related concerns.

She understands the importance of accessibility in healthcare and adopts a neuro-affirming, sex-worker friendly, disability inclusive and Health at Every Size (HAES) approach. For information about clinic accessibility click here.

Grace works with children and adults in her individual therapy sessions. She is experienced working with trauma (including PTSD and complex PTSD), anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism, among other presentations. To find out more about individual therapy click here.

Grace is a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and is experienced working with a variety of presentations. EMDR therapy is a different experience to traditional talk therapy and can be very helpful for people who’ve experienced trauma. Click here to find out more about EMDR.

Grace lives with her wife, Kate, and their dogs Andy (the big one) and Cliff (the little one).

She is proudly queer and neurodivergent, and plays netball and DND in her free time.
